What is Silly Green Energy LLC?
Silly Green Energy LLC is a for-profit business with a different perspective. We chose the LLC structure instead of a non-profit structure to keep the process of executing our mission as efficient as possible. The mission is to increase the effectiveness, efficiency, scale, and sustainability of our green infrastructure. Our goal is to do anything and everyhting, even silly things, to lower the barrier of entry for consumers to get into green energy infrastructure or to earn revenue and build an abundance of green energy infrastructure ourselves so EVERYONE can reap the benefits of low cost power, that is produced locally, and ready to use at a moments notice. By receiving support from a number of businesses and individuals we can make a quantifiable impact.
What do contributions build?
The contributions will go towards the purchase and installation of energy infrastructure on existing structures or open land. We are primarily focused on building small, low-cost solar and wind generation setups with energy storage strategically placed near consumers via existing installer companies. This will increase the amount of sustainable green energy available to the grid and lessen the strain on our already aging infrastructure. Reducing the impact power consumption has on the planet, while increasing the overall power consumers have access to. Focusing on low-cost solar and wind technologies ensures distribution of electricity generation and quicker deployment of the infrastructure itself. We also plan on doing small scale community power gardens, similar to the community food garden concept, except the community will be farming power.
How can you help?
We need help. We have very ambitious plans to get a lot of progress as efficiently and effectively as possible, however these plans require resources. Below is one way we plan on obtaining our resources to execute our mission.
